Eroc, I noticed that Jim played the entire show in Medina and was wondering about him rejoining the band full time. He is definitely and addition to an already great ensemble. That DG Black Strat of his sings.

Hi Michael - Actually Jim played on a bit over half the material - it's great to be able to utilize him when there is a 3rd guitar part, or for some added 'strength' with acoustic parts. I think we're both happy & comfortable with the role he currently plays with the band... as co-founder, I still refer to him (and for ease of explanation) as being 'in the band'... but this way he's not committed to every single show (which as a full-time player, gives him the option to take other gigs that might be more lucrative for him), and I have the option of keeping the band a little more 'streamlined' for road trips or shows with smaller budgets. Jim & I have been playing together over 24 years (over 2,500 gigs by our estimate!), and still currently perform at least 2 or 3 times a week as the Jim & Eroc Classic Rock Duo and with Colin Dussault in his Acoustic Side Project (which has just released a CD, which I will be promoting soon with it's own thread ... so I would say there's a trust and understanding that we have - both personally & musically - that's helped to keep us from killing each other, LOL... bet you weren't expecting that, huh? lol... But seriously, as I said, I think we're both comfortable with the way he has "evolved" back into the live gigs of WYWH and we'll let it take whatever course it may... With all the stress & challenges that I often find at these gigs, he does help with keeping me a little more sane by making me laugh or just BS'ing with me, since he knows me probably the best out of anybody I've ever worked with... that's also probably why he's been on so many of these gigs this past summer. Cheers! Eroc PS - More about Jim Tigue at www.classicrockduo.com and www.tiedye.net

Thank you for your candor. I was having such a good time I didn't realize that he only played half the tunes. Take that as a good thing ;-)
