i just wanted to give u some input on the show at the promowest pavilion a few weeks back. The show was great and me and my friends had a great time, especially walking back in the rain. but i wanted to let u know that we came to the conclusion that the promowest pavilion had a few drawback that had a slight effect on the show. well me and my friends are used to seeing u play at the odeon, that quadrafinia (i cant spell) show was amazing, it definately kiked ass! see the pavilion seems way too new and clean for a show of your standards. we felt that we had to keep the place clean, and ok. we want to be able to just rock away and groove with u guys to the music but with the place being so nice we felt restricted. we'd love to see u at the newport music hall sometime soon, that place is a lil more rundown and would feel a whole lot more cumfortable for a concert, u guys would probably have more people turn out since its right here on campus. well that was some useless word i thought id throw in. keep up the good work guys, hopefully ill see another show soon. Keep up the good work!

I agree, Promowest is a little clean, but I can deal there...it's cool. Yeah, bein a must drive distance from campus probably does hurt with the freshman that have no cars.....but trust me, I'd much rather see them at Promowest. The environment is more like a club at Newport it's true....but the PA is not even close to the PA at Promowest. The Newport lets you listen to the music like you'd listen with your parents in the car.....Promowest.....it's on par sound-wise with the Odeon, the way these guys deserve to be heard.

Danfrog- Thanks for your input... so "the pavilion seems way too new and clean for a show of your standards"...Hmmm - that sounds to me like you're saying our standards aren't that high? lol I didn't know some of our fans came to shows just so they could TRASH the place! But seriously, the PA and lights at the Pavilion are TEN TIMES BETTER than that at the Newport. I agree that playing there would be more convenient for the OSU students, but I believe that our stage show, sound, and visual impact would suffer, or in other words, we couldn't put on as good a show at the Newport as we can at the Promowest Pavilion. My opinion.... Thanks! Eroc WISH YOU WERE HERE

Don't feel bad for doing that lol....we do it at their shows and get the full effect, BELIEVE ME ;D. They have a clean-up crew employed for that. I'm not saying make a huge mess or anything, but when in the pit, I see nothing wrong with flooring the empties and putting the ciggy-butts out on the floor. Spitting on the floor....ehh that's a little gross to me lol...my 'dipper' friends usually use an empty as a spitter, I would reccomend that, it may bother some people to the point of yellin at you. Don't let the venue (which at least serves alki and allows smoking...non-smoking venues suck...IMO) restrict your enjoyment of the show....just do your thing Later, Eric

I have to agree, partially, with the Promo West gripe although my biggest groan about the place isn't how clean and tidy it is. You see the last couple of shows I've caught there have been ruined by a portion of the crowd . Don't get me wrong now b/c thats usually one of the best parts are the other floyd fans in attendence, but they were the Bluejackets ticketholders that were easily detected as not floyd fans but "we're here b/c it was free, man!" people! Ya see what I mean?! All of the other shows like oh i don't know lets just throw in The Newport ;D, you could pretty much feel right at home with everyone there. I can't tell you how many cool experiences I've heard from people that have seen the real Floyd and how WYWH is the closest to that experience they've seen! anyway you guys should play the Newport more often if nothing else. Keep on keepin' on guys!
