Good question for the band, floydfreak- Hmmm .... After careful consideration, if I had to pick one, I would say "Dark Side of the Moon", for it's sheer brilliance. The Wall, Animals & even Obscured all went thru my mind as well... But to me, DSOTM excels in all the 'classic album' requirements: Music, lyrics, production, concept, continuity, and the power of all the parts 'put together as a cohesive whole'.... Just fuckin' brilliant! "To hear the softly spoken magic spells", indeed. Eroc

The Wall was my senior year of HS album, and I listened to it almost exclusively for 3 months after it came out. It had the heaviest impact on me musically at that point. Before then I was listening to Animals, WYWH and Ummagumma on steady rotation. I had all the others at that time, but these were far and away the most listened to.
Over time, these are still my favorites, but I'm listening more and more to all the stuff that came out right when David joined, and loving the raw jamming that was happening.

With a sweet buzz goin, in my favorite rocking chair with the stereo headphones on my brother put on "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" and it blew me away! I'd have to say Wish You Were Here is still my favorite Floyd album.
