An interesting idea.
Well, last summer we recreated the 1973 Dark Side show at Blossom Music Center (where they performed it), which of course many people enjoyed, although you could tell when we were doing the openers of "Obscured By Clouds > When You're In", many people just kinda looked at us like, "huh?", lol...
The Eclipse show of '72, while it would be fun to play (even tho we would have to actually
un-learn some tunes lol) and the hardcore fans like yourselves would enjoy it, it would 'go over the heads' of most of the audience, even more than the '73 show.
Seriously, I could see, based on my knowledge of our audience, that maybe 1 in 20 would 'get it' and the all the others would be scratching their heads saying "this doesn't sound like the Floyd tunes we know", lol. (And of course we
want people to leave the show thinking we sounded like Floyd!)
And part of the challenge of successfully tributing Pink Floyd is, as our bio states, 'to perform the crowd favorites that all rock fans recognize, interspersed with the show-stoppers that appease even the most ardent Pink Floyd fanatics'... So, to be honest with you, I will consider this along with the many other suggestions we get for tunes - put it in the queue and maybe one day we'll get to it!
Personally, I agree that the Hollywood Bowl Travel Sequence is outstanding... but I wouldn't want to be the one to tell the girls that we're taking them out of The Great Gig, lol...
