Hey guys, I just found your site looking for PF art to be airbrushed on my car. You guys sound AWESOME! Until now, I thought the Aussie Floyd band was the only tribute band out there. I would love to see you guys live. I'm from MN, but do you guys ever play the Chicago, Milwaukee area? I would make the drive for sure. Thanks for keeping this awesome music alive.

Ya, its like 758 miles. 12 hour drive. So these guys are better than Aussie? No shit? Aussie charges like 50.00 plus ticket master fees. They were good, I will say that. From what I listened too on this site, they are awesome. Hmm...may be worth the drive then. Any summer shows planned?

mizestang,
If you drive the 12 hours you will have me beat. The wife and I are from Indpls and have driven to all corners of Ohio to see these guys rock the house. done this about probably 7 or 8 times over the years from Cincinnati, Columbus, Mansfield and as far as Canton (7 hours if I recall).
No regrets here whatsoever and I am gasing up the car now for Columbus next weekend. It always turns into a weekend event as we get a local room for after the show. Trust me, if you like floyd you had better check the oil.
See ya at the show. Steve

We've wanted to get into the Chicago market for awhile, but it's very difficult... and being such a large band (8 musicians + 5 crew) with a majority of members working full-time 'day jobs', it's a real challenge these days to book gigs & play further than a few hours out of Cleveland. (For example, I was close to booking us at HOB in Chicago, but to get in there we would've had to play on a Wednesday, and for considerably less money than what we make in Northeast Ohio... we just couldn't make it work.) Hopefully you can make it to one of our future shows if you feel like making the road trip.. you would be joining a growing league of fans from other states who come to see WYWH - from Maryland, Indiana, Pennsylvania and New York, to name a few. Cheers - Eroc

I must encourage you to see these guys!! I've been a huge fan since first seeing them in June 2001. I lived in Canton at the time, but moved to northwest Indiana July 2002 (and then an hour closer to Cleveland in 2005). I come back multiple times per year to see them perform in Cleveland, Columbus, Canton, Covington, KY.....and believe me they are worth it! I've also seen the Aussie's (among a few other PF-tribute bands) and the Aussie's put on a great show, but I personally would prefer WYWH any day. With WISH, I feel like I am at a concert where a band is playing 'their own music' and with the Aussie's it feels like a staged performance (almost like a musical/theatre play) of someone's work. In other words....and I hate to say it like this, but I'm a crappy communicator with words, lol....Wish almost feels like they are Pink Floyd--which sounds sooooo lame, but I mean as a complete compliment. They don't have that cover band feel you often find with bands playing someone else's material--like I said above, it feels like they are playing their own stuff. I would definitely encourage you to make the trip one of these days. But I still keep hoping for the band to come to Chicago too!! I've said it before, I'll say it again.....you guys would ROCK Chicago! South Bend and Indy too for that matter. It seems like EVERYONE here is a fan of Pink Floyd.....they are by far the most popular band at my school (thanks Facebook ). I just wish HOB Chicago would recognize! But it issss Chicago......there's got to be some other venue suited for this band ;D Eric
