I would like to start off this message by saying that I have viewed your live videos and think that you not only sound amazing, but also have better visual effects than other floyd tributes I have seen. I think you guys should come to Pittsburgh for a show. Pittsburgh worships Pink Floyd. The last cover band to come here, Aussie Floyd, sold out two nights in a row at the Benedum theater. Also, at there are weekly Midnight Floyd laser shows at the planetarium that are always packed. You guys live close to Pittsburgh, so why not come over for a show? We have plenty of great outdoor venues you could use. This would cause to catch the largest fan base possible, from families who love floyd and bring there children to stoners of all ages who just enjoy lasers. This would be a huge money maker for you guys.

Unless the counter is wrong, george is one impatient MF. :-) I show over 1,000 hits to this thread.

Haha, that is funny, but where the hell did all of these views come from? there was not even over a 1000 members on this forum, and there hasn't even been 1000 people online, so someone had to come back and view it over and over again.

Nope, people are really just that interested in a Pittsburgh show.

If your old enough to drive, I would recommend the trip. However, If you actually refreshed your browser over 1,000 times on this thread, I have my reservations about meeting you.:-0

Def make the drive if you can....they are worth it. I'm from Indiana and am willing to make the trek whenever I can to see these guys....they are that good. Just wait until you see them live! I, too, think it would be cool if WISH broke back into the Pittsburgh market. I can claim 2 views ...well 3 now.

We have played Pittsburgh a few times - at the IC Light Amphitheatre, at Star Lake (post Gazette Pavilion) for Fakefest, and at Mr. Small's. Through the years there have been other Floyd tributes that have played there that have precluded us from getting a foothold in the town. Also, we need to have a certain monetary guarantee to make it worth it for us travel, and there are no promoters there currently that want to take the risk. This business is not one in which I can just say "I wanna play this town" and *boom* - a gig materializes. George, if you can find us a promoter & book us in a venue on a date that we're available and at a price that makes it worth it for us, we'll give you an agent's commission on that! Cheers - Eroc

I am actually only fifteen (sixteen in a month) so I can't quite drive yet. To the whole refreshing thing- I have a pretty good computer and was holding down command, it only took about two minutes of pressing R, though I do admit that is still weird. To Eroc: Sorry about that, I didn't totally think that one through. I assumed most people were like me and just constantly checked new concerts. I saw your vids and thought you guys were as good as the next, why not? As for getting you guys set up for a gig here, I doubt I will be able to do anything (only 15, sorry) but I will definitely look into it. My dad is pretty smart, he might be able to help, or he may just laugh in my face. I'll probably look into outdoor venues, those you can get a lot of people. There was a great small venue I went too at the beginning of the year that had everyone you could imagine, from little kids there with there parents to old hippies to stoners. It wasn't even too big of a band, Rusted Root if you have heard of them. Pink Floyd would really get people, especially with your amazing visual effects. I am about to start looking into things, sorry if this message went on too long. Thanks for your time, George.

To Eroc: I emailed all pittsburgh promoters and got a tip about another guy (I left a message on his phone). This may actually be able to happen.

The above poll should be posted in the "Pink Floyd and other topics" section, not attached to this particular thread. Also, it is incomplete and missing almost half the Floyd catalog!

SFOS, More and TFC are only missing from the Floyd catalog until Rog left. :-)

Eroc, I emailed your last chance at getting a gig in Pittsburgh the other day and he told me to call him tomorrow. I was wondering if you had any info I should give him? Thanks
