Okay, after seeing you the band twice, I was wondering what are some of the effects pedals, and guitar pickups you guys have; the sound on all of the songs sound amazing! Everything sounded great from 2nd row!

Wow! Thanks is some nice gear, all of my gear doesn't even have stomp boxes ( my dad bought the wrong thing), and they get some nice tones, but I think I need to change my setup in my guitar.

I do know that Bob's keyboard setup has changed quite a bit since he posted this originally...hopefully, he'll have a chance to chime in and enlighten us all...it seems like everytime I've checked out his rig over the last 6 months or so, he's *constantly* tweakin' his setup...

Yea...a little bird told me he has some hand-operated stomp-boxes integrated into the rig now....and a GIANT leslie. Even tho I have no idea about keyboard stuff, I am intrigued to hear how his rig has changed!

I thought the topic was "Guitar and Bass Equipment"...lol
I've been running a different setup the past 6 months or so with some stuff mounted to a board in place of a 3rd keyboard. I really liked the flexibility of 3 keyboards, but I longed for other stuff to be reachable more. I have a Roland VK8-M Organ module, a Yamaha MG series mixer, an ART 3-channel powered mini mixer, a Speakeasy Vintage Tube Preamp, and a SM Pro Audio V-Machine (basically a PC dedicated to software synths).
I did buy a Leslie 31h cabinet recently from an old friend, which is 5 feet tall. This one is for home, as it is in very nice shape and too big to cart around! It needs an amp and a 15" speaker, so I'll be hunting for those for some time I imagine, since they're hard to find and often expensive. I did go over the Leslie 145 recently and I'm really liking the improvement the new driver is making so far.
I also retired my Motion Sound KBR-3d Keyboard Amplifier in favor of some old Barbetta Sona Elan 41C's that I found on the internet, when all the Blogs seemed to be poo-pooing them and they went cheap. They have a 5" tweeter and 2 10's, biamped, and 450 watts apiece! They're small and only weigh 41 lbs. Sure is nice to just idle them and have a full sound!

Well, any sound signal can have electronic processing applied to it... whether that be a rackmounted unit, something in a computer, or a 'stomp box'/effects pedal. Doesn't matter what instrument. Listen to "Money" & you can hear the Wah-Wah pedal on Rick Wright's Wurlitzer electric piano... just to name 1 example. ;D
