I'm gonna be going to the House of Blues show in Cleveland this Friday. I know the name of the gig is "Animals, Lasers and the Classics" but I wanted to know if anyone knew what songs they're gonna play.
It says 2 sets on the homepage. I would love to know cause I want to make sure I am at least familiar with each song. I'm a relatively new PF fan.

Hello and Welcome antuonchris. Setlists for previous shows are documented throughout the website. As a PF Fan, I can tell you that, the Floyd fan community welcomes you with open minds. Since you are new to Pink Floyd music I would suggest just going and taking it all in and then deal with the emotions and thoughts that enter your mind, before, during and after the show and then start deciding what you like or don't like and go from there.
Since we know the album Animals is being one, you may want to at least read the lyrics beforehand. Some of Roger Water's best writing, IMHO, the album was released between the albums Wish you were Here and The Wall and was during a time that Roger's demands for perfection, on the other members, really started to take hold and put a weight on the bandmates. Hope to see you there.
Michael

Oh, I agree, I ADORE animals. Don't get me wrong when I say "new". I have & know a huge deal of Floyd music. But there are some songs out there I don't. I was just wondering how many I wouldn't know at the show. It's just plain more fun when you know the songs at a gig.
And YES! Roger is a god in my opinion and his work on everything between DSOTM to The Final Cut it pure genius. I lament the split so much.

Michael, nice post! And antuonchris, we never publish our setlists before the show (only after) but, I couldn't put it any more succiently than theend did. Check out our other setlists here in the forum and/or check out our video and audio posts (you can find them all thru our site floydtribute.com)...and of course, it never hurts to be familiar w/ the "holy triumvirate" of 'Dark Side', 'Wish You Were Here', and 'The Wall' :0) We always try to do our best to cover as many eras of Floyd as possible w/in the time constraints allowed...believe me, we *always* have a hard time "cutting" tunes from lists from show to show!

Wow! Sorry I'm a bit starstruck. I saw you last year in Warren, Ohio at the Amphitheater! Haha. You guys did amazing. It was purely incredible. Just thought I'd say so.
